Putting it in perspective
It is estimated that there are between 100 and 400 billion stars in our Milky Way galaxy. That is a truly astronomical number, so large the human mind can’t realistically comprehend it.
So try to wrap your head around this… If we had a dollar for every star in the Milky Way, even going with the high side of that estimate of 400,000,000,000 stars. It would still take over 40 galaxies the size of the Milky Way to pay off the U.S. National debt of approximately 16,231,649,000,000 (at the time of this posting).
