Finally Broke Down and Bought a New Printer
If Shaunda Brown doesn’t want that old ink sucking, paper jamming HP you may want to keep an eye out for a You Tube Clearing a paper jam from a HP C6280 or possibly Hewlett Packard wheel chock fail.
I hope she don’t want it. I can have so much fun saying good riddance to the last POS HP printer I’ll own.
As far as the new one, so far so good. However, it does cause a brownout in the room when it prints, I didn’t realize how much juice laser printers draw! So far though it hasn’t popped a breaker. If you would happen to get a Brother printer, don’t use the CD for full driver and apps installation. The CD uses a Flash front-end and is buggy as could be. Come on Brother you should know better… You’ll instead want to either install through the add printer utility from within Windows and let it find the driver on the CD or download the full driver package from the Brother website and run it (no Flash there). On a more positive note, installing the Linux drivers was much less hassle, run a bash script and drink coffee until it’s done.
